Committee Information
Cal Poly's WASC Reaccreditation process began in Spring 2007 when the WASC Institutional Proposal Committee was convened. The institutional proposal was approved by WASC on December 12, 2007, and we are now in the self-study phase of the process, which will be guided by the Steering Committee. Four working groups will study the four themes identified in the institutional proposal: Our Polytechnic Identity, The Integrated Education Experience, Learn-by-doing, and the Teacher-Scholar Model. Working groups were chosen largely from those who volunteered after a campus-wide solicitation in Fall 2007 and also from recommendations from various campus units.
