Special Visit 2025
At the conclusion of its prior cycle in summer 2022, Cal Poly received a 10-year reaffirmation of its accreditation. Included in its commission action letter, WSCUC scheduled a special visit in 2025 to focus on two topics:
- Continued progress on initiatives intended to increase student diversity and equity, including Cal Poly Scholars and partner high school programs.
- Progress in development of an integrated and cohesive DEI plan.
A Steering Committee and two working groups are meeting regularly to plan and prepare for the upcoming visit.
Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is meeting monthly to help guide the production of the special visit report, to review WSCUC best practices, and to prepare for the visit in fall 2025.
